Abstract

One of the most important threats to religion in any time have been the improper beliefs. One of the most important improper religious beliefs is exaggerative beliefs and thoughts. These beliefs can bring misleading results in different areas related to religion. Among these, one can point to a kind of unfounded conflict between religion and wisdom, or religion and science, which appears following some Ghalyanah’s beliefs. In Islam, the middle of the first century AH, the era of the caliphate of Ali (as), was the origin of the emergence of extremist thoughts or excesses in religious beliefs among Muslims. In the next centuries, these beliefs not only did not disappear, but also remained openly and secretly on their way until at the time of the two Sadiq (AS), it turned to the flows through which they were promoted and hadiths were falsified systematically. In the present study, by reviewing the emergence of extremism among the Shiites and the most important Ghalyanah’s ideas, it is attempted to explain the issue of exaggeration and the mysterious way of grains in attributing hadith to the infallible (AS), which sometimes cause to make methods such as reviewing the document and trusting the popular speeches and famous literature ineffective in diagnosing them. Then, by examining and analyzing some examples of important hadiths that have so far been strong references for Ghalyanah’s thoughts, the method of discovering exaggerative beliefs, and by relying on the method that was emphasized by Imams (AS), the explanation and rejection of these thoughts were clarified
