The purpose of this study is to understand the principles of theoretical thoughts of personality in Islam and compare them with principles of personality psychology. Accordingly, to investigate ten major foundations about human personality from the Islamic perspectives, this study deals with documentations in verses and hadiths. Then, to understand the human being, it expresses the achievements and applications of each one separately. Method used in this research was descriptive and documentary based on library sources. Collected data from Quran, Sunnah and psychological research have been analyzed through content analysis with the help of analyzing selected texts.
