The aimof the present study is to review the principles and methods of moral education in the Prophet’s (PBUH) and Ahlul-Bayt’s (AS) sire through a qualitative approach. To achieve the research objective, the researcher used documentary analytical method and data about the variabls, i.e. ethics, moral education, the sire of the Prophet and Ahlul Bayt, the principles and methods of moral education, that were collected through narrative and historical books and research by identifying and gathering necessary resources and taking notes and recording related subjects. They, then, were classified and analyzed eventually. The findings show that three bases were inferenced from the Prophet's (PBUH) and Ahlul-Bayt’s (AS) sire, from each of which one principle and from each principle two methods were extracted. The first is the harmony of reason and revelation. The principle behind this basis is the interaction of moral thinking and ethics and moral obedience. The supervisory methods, also, explains the ethical values and fighting with pasions. The second is the harmony of religion and ethics. The principle behind this is the interconnectedness of moral education and the supervisory methods behind this principle is purifying the environment from manifestation of corruption and creating a moral environment by recommending the good deed and forbidding evil. The third basis is the coordination of the good deed and the good doer. The principle behind it is the interaction of motivation and action and the methods supervising it is stimulating the faith and religious beliefs of educators and fostering the desire and pasions to gain virtues and the ability to oppose evils
