One of the complex issues considered as the basis and foundation of most philosophical issues and Islamic knowledge is the study of present existence and the expression of unity or plurality. Thoughts and words of mystics, philosophers, and theologians in this area are different and non-exhaustive. Mola Sadra is the contender of intellectual proof of the theory of Personal Unity. He has established this theory on the basis of his philosophical principles, and accordingly, stated the philosophical principles of Existentialism. What is the reality of Existence is the only truth of Existence, and other creatures are just the shadow of Existence. More scholars in the field of theoretical mysticism as well as some philosophers of transcendent wisdom, in discussing the relationship between the units and multiply, believe this theory. In the other words, all philosophical thoughts and schools in the field of Islamic thoughts were forced to accept this view, but its adoption requires three important philosophical and theological necessities for this theory. They are 'denial of causality',' all assuming God', and 'accepting determinism and negation of authorityt'. Therefore, the above theory was not accepted because of religious thought.
To prove these criticisms, first, we explain the philosophical principles based on Theory of Personal Unity; then, stating the criticisms, we answer the question of "Is talking about Personal Unity Theory in consistent with religious beliefs and intellectual axioms because of religious thoughts or not?"
