The Quran discusses the concept of justice through its manifestations and by its anthropological dimensions. Therefore, the Quranic teachings emphasize the duty of the society and the individual. Justice means ascribing the right of each individual and the necessity of performing justice id very pressing. Bestowing the right of each individual means forcing other people to respect his right and perform their duty towards him. Therefore, man has nobility and respect according to the Quran. Man has the potential to perform his duty and accept his responsibility. Duty and law are manifestations of the divine right of human beings which have been assigned by Allah. This paper attempts to answer why man is responsible towards Allah? Are the assignments which Allah has ordered to be performed by man just? The paper also deals with verses of the Quran dealing with justice and moral duty of man and their reciprocating relations.
